Getting Started

Why I Created CppLearn

After searching through many other C++ resources I still didn't feel satisfied. Web sites tended to go into much detail of the syntax but not the rationale behind it or always assumed a fairly large prior knowledge.

So I decided to do something more flowing to it.

One step by step pathway through C++ without handing you bits and pieces and leaving to you to connect the dots. This, to me, is the sort of resource I would have used on my own to learn with, detailed and to the point.

I write the articles with a lot of care, I read them thoroughly before publishing, and will continue to develop CppLearn with more topics that are lacking coverage elsewhere.

All the best to you guys!

About CppLearn

CppLearn is an interactive, free reference for modern C++. In each lesson, you'll find out how the language works, rather than just lines of code that you can copy and paste. We cover concepts starting from beginner lessons on fundamentals and proceed to templates, move semantics, smart pointers, and areas that usually trap or scare C++ learners.
